Companionship

Night Care
Life can be difficult on your own. Feelings of isolation and loneliness can become acute, especially as we enter the later years of our life. Feelings of loneliness can have a negative impact on our wellbeing, and it is critical that we are able to maintain human contact, even if it is for just a few hours a week. As such, we can attend to you, even if you don’t have a medical condition, but would like someone to simply be there for you. Maybe you would like someone to accompany you to the shops, or perhaps you would like to share a coffee. Whatever is the case, we are here.

Your Support Plan may include:

  • Reminiscing about the past by bringing old memories
  • Discussing meal choices and assist with meal preparation
  • Going for walks or getting some fresh air in the garden
  • Having a chat over a cup of tea or coffee
  • Encourage mental stimulation activities
  • Arrange and escort to appointments
  • Support with hobbies and interests
  • Participation with crafts and hobbies
  • Help with travel arrangements
  • Accompany to lunch of dinner
  • Attend clubs, sporting events
  • Plan visits, outings and trips
  • Visiting family and friends
  • Assistance with reading
