Though desirable, you don’t require any qualifications or experience to become a care worker with Endless Love Healthcare, as we feel the most important qualifications you need for becoming a care worker are the passion and desire to care and support others, our friendly, experienced team are here to support and train you to become the best care worker you can be.
We support people in their own homes and in the community. As a care worker for Endless Love Healthcare, you will play a very important, major role in the lives of our service users, helping them to continue living in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Care Worker, your role will be to assist our service users with :

  • Getting in and out of bed
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Bathing and personal hygiene
  • Assistance with daily clothing selection
  • Assisting with preparation of meals
  • Make-up and personal grooming
  • Catheter care and management
  • Helping with incontinence care
  • Assisting with using the toilet 
  • Supporting with oral hygiene
  • Medication support
  • Denture cleaning
  • Support with the application of ointments and creams
  • Assistance with day-to-day tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assistance with the usage of aids and personal equipment such as ceiling track hoist or walking aids
  • Providing companionship, friendship and reassurance including a trip into town, visit theatre, library, bank, medical appointment, sports and leisure activities, meeting friends, shopping, reading and photo album, community engagement or having a chat over a cup of tea or coffee
  • Supporting some of our service users with advanced Dementia, Parkinson’s and those on End of Life
  • Have a natural and caring attitude – you must have a caring nature, have a heart for people, having the willingness to help, be very sensitive and understanding as you will be dealing with very vulnerable people who will be depending on you.
  • Good team player with great communication skills – you should be able to engage with the service user and respond to what they want, at the same time respecting their wishes and wants.
  • A willingness to listen – you must be able to pay very good attention and if you don’t, this might leave them very angry and frustrated. You must be very observant of any illness or signs of mental health e.g., depression.
  • Have the ability to organise and plan – As you are working in someone’s home, you need to make sure that the environment is clean, safe and warm, help with food shopping and doing some domestic chores.
  • Flexibility – you must be able to work unusual hours and must be able to change your schedule to meet the service users’ needs.
  • Reliability and Attentiveness – you must be reliable whenever you are needed as you are the most important person in the service user’s life e.g., giving medication on time, making sure they have eaten on time.
  • Work allocation is done in advance, giving you time to plan ahead
  • We’ll ensure you receive enthusiastic and encouraging support from our dedicated management team
  • We offer flexible shift patterns and working hours to fit around your needs.  You will work a combination of early shifts, late shifts and alternate weekends

  • CV with full employment history since leaving school with all gaps covered, including cover letter (Please give details of your full employment history starting with the most recent.   • Have relevant Health and Social Care qualifications from accredited training provider ie Red Cross or St John’s Ambulance accompanied with proof of work based experience
  • Police clearance from Central Police clearance within 6 months of application
  • Professional reference from most recent employer and a character reference
  • Possess a Valid TB Test from a Home Office approved test centre
  • Have a high standard of written and spoken English
  • Minimum IELTS for UKVI score of 5.0
  • Possess IELTS or equivalent
  • Valid photo driving licence
  • Valid passport
